Ecologi: Plant Trees per Sale

Although my store is new and in the early development stage I have found ecologi easy and straightforward to set up and use. I'm happy to be able to show that my store is having positive impact on the environment one sale at a time.

It has take very long to improve few aspects. Also the cost of tree planting is 20 cnets more expensive than buying it on the shop, that is not correct. Still does not offer an option to also let the customers to pay for funding the tree planting or now the carbon removal. This should be an option so that we dont need to cover all the costs. We love Ecologi. Their application was a easy to set up. Requires further development though as the application does not provide store owners with any automatic placement of badges. We do highly recommend Ecologi; though. We shall continue to use it and look forward to future updates.

We are unfortunately considering canceling this integration as the Shopify API doesn't showcase that we are planting trees on our products pages (despite Ecologi's images showing that their app makes it possible).

It's quick and easy to set up an account, however I don't really feel like it's set up for Shopify Integration at all. We had to downgrade our rating from 5 stars to 1 star. Our profile with Ecologi is constantly showing server errors or other errors related to rendering the website. This causes big confusion with our customers and ultimately in them loosing trust into our business if our climate action claims are not verifiable by them.
