Promising, but needs more integrations. The core works, and support was responsive, but the chat UI felt a bit basic for our brand, and we wanted more integrations. It’s a solid AI assistant, just not as ‘all-in-one helpdesk’ as the bigger platforms—yet.

We like that we can choose the newest/best LLM depending on what we’re optimizing for — quality vs cost — without rebuilding our whole setup. We even tested Grok just to compare tone and speed, and switching models was painless. Combined with proactive sales prompts and ticket handoff, it feels like a sales + support hybrid.

Way more flexible than other helpdesk bots I tried a couple of other chatbot apps before this and always felt limited by their built-in AI. With Chaterimo, I actually get to connect my own OpenAI API and choose the exact model I want (currently using GPT 5.2), which makes a huge difference in response quality. Solid lightweight chatbot. We use it with the latest GPT model and the answers are scary good. The pricing tiers were a bit unclear when I first installed, took me a while to figure out which plan I actually needed. But compared to Tidio its a no brainer for the price. 10/10 would recommend

Confusing pricing at first, but worth it Switched from Gorgias mainly to cut costs. Chaterimo is def way cheaper, but I was pretty confused by the pricing structure in the beginning... didn't really get how the model usage billed vs the app subscription. Support helped explain it quickly tho. Now that I get it, I'm saving like $300 a month!
